PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS- all ages Anyone interested in finding out about the Club, and having an introductory session is welcome to come to the track on the 1st THURSDAY IN THE MONTH AT 6.30pm– (this is the only night for new / prospective members) We will explain the Club’s policies, events and so on and work out the most appropriate training group for you to join-under 17 years old children should be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Sessions at Ridlins Stadium, Woodcock Road, Stevenage MONDAY (6.30 – 8.00); TUESDAY AND THURSDAY EVENINGS (6.30 – 8.30)
MONDAYS Primary Schoolchildren; years 4 and 5; (6.30- 7.30) Training sessions cover all skills and events
Long and Triple Jump Long and Triple jump coaching alternate each Monday – see notice board for dates of each
Javelin Alternative squad for those who can’t make Thursdays or who do other events on Thursday
Circuits; athletes aged 12 years and over; A programme of exercises using small weights and your own body weight designed to improve strength and power, suitable for athletes from all disciplines.
Disability Squad* All disability athletes including wheelchair users and seated throwers
Squad sessions; As athletes progress, they may need to increase the number of their training sessions:- coaches may arrange extra sessions for their older athletes. Athletics for fitness; including athletes with disabilities Sessions for adults and secondary schoolchildren who want to train but who don’t want to compete.
*Athletes with disabilities may also be included in sessions on Tuesday and Thursday

Middle distance 2 squads- schooldchildrfen (800/1500/cross country) and Senior squad (800 upwards)
High Jump 2 squads Tuesday or Thursday

SUNDAYS The track is usually open, 10am – 1pm (not Bank Holidays) fees payable to Council staff on duty. Coaches make individual arrangements their squad athletes
